I suggest really learning about how your supervisor is when it comes to flexibility and expectations because some departments are extremely strict while others are more flexible. Pay could be WAY better (starting rate was only $15.75/hr with a bachelors) but it is also one of the only places in Asheville to get lab experience outside of hospitals, so there isn't much competition to offer higher pay.
